What is an authentication code?
Authentication codes are used to authenticate you when using web services. The usual username/password model would not work well here, because services are used quite heavily and to ask password every time would be an overkill. Storing the password in a configuration file would be imposing high security risks.
Authentication codes are used to authenticate you when using web services. The usual username/password model would not work well here, because services are used quite heavily and to ask password every time would be an overkill. Storing the password in a configuration file would be imposing high security risks.You can change authentication code under projects menu -> new authentication code. For that, you will need password change privilege.
On authentication codes list page (project menu -> authentication codes) you can change other users' authentication codes. To access authentication codes list, you will need project manager role.
